Meadow Seeking District Win

The Meadow Broncos are preparing to hit the road again this Friday. The Broncos, still seeking their first win, will travel to Borden County, where they will face off against the 4-2 Coyotes. The Coyotes are going to be coming into Friday night’s game after a 77-31 win over Jonesboro. The Broncos are coming off a tough loss to the Wellman-Union Wildcats. Meadow played exceptionally well in their first District match up against the Wildcats, but struggled defensively to slow down their opponent. The Broncos lost that match up 64-52, after coming alive in the second half, scoring 36 points in the final two quarters alone. Coach Conner and his guys are looking to keep the momentum alive from last Friday, as well as work on improving in the areas that they were weakest. The Coyotes will be a tough match up for the Broncos, as they are highly ranked across the board. The Broncos had home field advantage last week but will be traveling a little over an hour to Friday night’s game. Kick-off will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Borden County.
