In 2013 she again returned to education, this time at Brownfield ISD where she was the Behavioral Interventionist for Brownfield Middle School. Terry County COVID cases continue to rise

COVID-19 virus cases continue to rise in Terry County with county and city leadership not knowing exactly why. As of press time on Tuesday, Terry County had 14 new cases confirmed bringing the total case count to 361. There are currently 111 active cases in Terry County with 247 recoveries and three deaths.

Harvest Festival Fun

The Harvest Festival, held at Coleman Park on Saturday, Oct. 10, saw plenty of vistors come out to enjoy the events of the day from performances, to buying food, drinks, and shopping. Attendees filled the concert stand to watch musical performances and the crowning of this year’s Harvest Festival Queen.

Brownfield City leadership warns of rise in COVID cases

In recent days Terry County has seen a rise in COVID-19 cases. As of Friday, Oct. 9, there were 14 new cases and 96 active cases. Brownfield City Manager Jeff Davis sent out a press release explaining the dire situation that Terry County is in.

Time to say goodbye

Update on a story the Brownfield News brought to you on August 26, 2020, about the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church located at 304 E. Lanny Ave. in August. The National Ranching Heritage Center (NRHC) in Lubbock put out a press release stating they had obtained the historic Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and would be moving it sometime in the fall. That day came on Wednesday, Oct. 7, when C.B. Madewell and Sons House Moving from Levelland loaded it up and headed down the Lubbock Highway to its new home.
