Read moreAccording to the Texas Department of Transportation website, in the next 10 years the state expects to spend $92.7 million on state and US highways in Terry County, plus new sidewalk improvements. This week, TXDOT has begun the new sidewalk project that will replace the sidewalks, not roads. The project will begin from Cedar Street to US 62 (Lubbock Rd.) on both north and south sides of US 380 (Tahoka Rd.) The project will then switch over to Main St. (US 380) From US 62 (1st St. to 7th St.) also on both north and south sides of Main St.
