The Brownfield Aquatic Center pool slides have been completed by a company called Splashtacular. The lead foreman said the newly painted slides will be much faster and slicker than they ever were before. Splashtacular also redid the stairs with safe slip resistant material as well as replaced the slide platform decking with fiberglass reinforced decking. Billions have been distributed by the Texas Workforce Commission in order to help struggling families gain childcare while parents are working, that’s according to the Texas Workforce Commission’s latest press release.The Texas Workforce Commission says, “through the investment in child care providers, we help our businesses retain and attract a skilled workforce and we keep our economy growing.” In total TWC is distributing $3.45 billion of federal relief funds directly to approximately 13,400 eligible child care providers through the 2022 Child Care Relief Fund (CCRF). Those relief funds can be used to cover many expenses, including temporary wage increases or other strategies to recruit and retain staff, rent, supplies, and utilities. In just this month the Texas Workforce Commission approved $314.75 million to be made available for child care funding. In November 2021, the Commission allocated over $293 million for low-income child care, bringing the total funding dedicated to $607.95 million for families through 2024. These funds will help address local demand for child care assistance and enroll more children currently on existing waiting lists.

It’s hard to say what a proper response to God is, meaning, it’s difficult to define because it has to be authentic. For sure, I think it’s safe to say those who approach God must have faith. “For without faith, it is impossible to please Him...” (Hebrews 11:6). This is definitely a necessary ingredient no matter what posture we take in response to the goodness of God.
