Strong winds on Tuesday blew through town, causing some damage. Seen in the photo above is a tree in front of a home on Broadway that was spilt in half and ultimatley collapsed due to the high winds. She graduated in 2022 with honors and received a bachelor’s in athletic training. After graduating from Brownfield High School as salutatorian in 2018, she went to New Mexico Junior College on a full scholarship for athletic training. She graduated from New Mexico Junior College in 2020 with an Associates in Art with honors and an Associate of Science with honors. After graduation, she will attend Texas Tech to receive her Master’s in athletic training.
