The proclamation read, “encourage all citizens of Terry county to commit to preventing child abuse and supporting efforts. To ensure the safety of every child please report any instances of known child abuse or neglect by immediatly calling 911 or your local law enforcement agency along with the CPS hotline at 1(800)-252-5400 together we can create safe homes and strong families in our communities.”

Voters have until April 21 to complete a short online survey, where they will be able to choose between three images proposed for the Greater Roadrunner license plate. Survey results will help the agency decide which of three photographic designs should be featured on the new specialty plate.

Brownfield comes in second in the state to Fredericksburg which has 34 years of no lost time. Cat Gonzalez, the Brownfield Power and Light lead said, “I am very proud of our crew for the hard work and dedication to stay safe while working in all conditions.
