The Brownfield pool is getting ready for opening day on Saturday, May 28 and city officials are very excited to have everyone back for the summer. Parks and Recreation Director Scott Jackson speaks on how happy he is for the pool to be open again, “I’m happy the pools open! It’s been too long man. It’s been since 2020, 2021 we had covid then the breaks from the big freeze. Everything is brand new pretty much and the slide has a new paint job, all of our major pipelines that were cracked have been fixed. Water looks good and we have enough life guards out there.”
