Mayor and Presidential Election To Be Held Together

Two Arrested On Drug Charges

On Tuesday, April 7th at approximately 6:34 p.m. a Brownfield police officer pulled over a Chevy car for a traffic violation in the 1300 block of South Cedar St. As the officer made contact with the two subjects in the car, the officer decided to call in the K-9 unit. The K-9 unit showed up to the scene and the “drug” dog hit on the car resulting in the officer searching the vehicle and finding over 150 grams of methamphetamine, almost a third of a pound.
