Gasoline in Texas is on the rise

(November 16, 2020) - Texas gas prices have risen 3.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.80/g today, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 13,114 stations. Gas prices in Texas are 5.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 43.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

Lady Broncos win on the road

The Meadow girls’ basketball team was on the road Saturday morning and returned home with a 35-27 win over Motley County. The game started slow with Meadow (1-1) jumping out to an early 7-2 lead that it never relinquished. The second quarter saw the Lady Broncos hit a hot streak outscoring their opponent 12-6 to go into the half with a 19-8 lead. After the break, both teams found ways to score with Meadow and Motley County scoring 10-10, but the Lady Broncos led 29-18. Meadow dropped the fourth quarter losing 9-6, but it held on to get its first win of the young season.
