The Brownfield cross-country team traveled to Lubbock Tuesday morning to compete at the Lubbock Invitational meet at Mae Simmons Park. The Lady Cubs fell short of qualifying as a team with a fourth-place finish. The top three teams advanced to the regional meet. Kate Hesse and Rayleigh Perry qualified individually after placing in the top 10.
