Dwane Eugene Ward, 60, of Brownfield passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020. Dwane was born in Grapevine, TX to Alton and Lynette Ward on February 25, 1960. He attended Western Oklahoma State College in Altus, OK, then went onto Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee, OK to earn his degree in Diesel Mechanics Technology/Technician. Dwane married Patty Mason on May 29, 1999. Together they raised three kids. Dwane enjoyed family togetherness, doing things with the grandchildren, taking care of stray pets and Daisy his miniature pony. He took great pride in his home and loved being outside. Dwane had a strong work ethic. He drilled wells for 20 years and was a mechanic. Dwane is preceded in death by his father Alton Ward and twin sisters, Susan and Shirley Ward. Dwane will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Patty Ward of Brownfield; his children, Amanda Soliz and husband Ben of Lubbock, Chad Hall of Phoenix, AZ, and Ashley Campbell of Lubbock; grandchildren, Brodey Yates, Kaden Campbell, Bronson Soliz, Mason Campbell, and Jaxen Hernandez; his mother, Lynette Ward; five siblings, James Ward and wife Barbara of Midland, Tommy Ward and wife Robie of Hollis, OK, Terry Ward and wife Donnita of Minnesota, and Amy Piercy and husband Tommy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 12 from 5 to 7pm at Brownfield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday, August 13 at the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Terry County Memorial Cemetery.

In his early years he worked as an oilfield pumper and later he pursued a career in truck driving. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Owen” and Mabel Rimer; three brothers, Bobby Gene, Arnold and Harold Wayne; sister, Pat Propps and a son, Gayland Ingram. Stanley is survived by his wife, Ardeth Rimer; son, Keith Rimer and wife Gail; two daughters, Tammy Strunk and Karen Thompson and husband Jimmy; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Dale Rimer and wife Pam, and Danny Marlin Rimer and wife Penny and numerous neices and nephews.

Wesley was born on May 3, 1944 to Hazel Gertrude Webb and George Webb in Brownfield.He graduated from Brownfield High School and afterward he joined the United States Army and was stationed overseas in Germany from 1961 to 1964. When he came back, he settled down, and worked at Brownfield Power & Light for many years. He made many friends while working there and you could always find him sitting outside the plant chatting with someone. Wesley had a love for fishing. He visited the area lakes to catch the biggest fish you would have ever seen. He also had a joy for Bingo. He would get to the Bingo Hall hours early just to make sure nobody else got his parking place or sat at his table spot. He loved going to Montelongo’s Mexican Food Restaurant when he went to Lubbock to play Bingo. He had a passion for tinkering, whether it be with lawn mowers or cars. He would always fix anything himself. He loved to go to garage sales and steal great finds and he made sure to show you all his treasures. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother, and sister. He leaves behind his beloved dog, Booger; three nieces, Patty Downey, Tammy Ratliff, and Cindi Jones; a nephew, Michael Webb; as well as many great nieces, nephews, and cousins who all loved him very much.

There will be a family visitation at Brownfield Funeral Home on Monday, August 3, 2020, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Mateo was born September 21, 1925, in Coy City to Guadalupe and Eduarda Merelez Arrezola. Mateo served in the United States Army from March 27, 1952, until he was honorably discharged on March 27, 1954. He served as a Corporal during the Korean War and played baseball while in the Army. He married the love of his life Ermelinda Nanez on April 21, 1954, in Karnes City. Mateo moved to Brownfield in 1956 and began his career in farm labor with Murphy May and they began a lifelong friendship. He worked throughout the years with Thurman Skains, E. H. Wood, and Dub Holemann through the mid 1990’s. Mateo retired in 2000 from Terry County and continued his retirement with his kids and grandchildren. Mateo loved his family with all of his might, he cherished all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the sweetest man to everyone he encountered. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ermelinda Arrezola, two brothers, Luis and Charlie, and two sisters, Bernice and Felipa, and his parents. Mateo is survived by a son, Eddie Arrezola of Brownfield; 8 daughters, Jossie Harvill of Brownfield, Julia Arrezola of Brownfield, Nifa Campos of Midland; Janie Constancio of Brownfield, Norma Davila of Cedar Park, Amy Arrezola of Brownfield, Melissa Ochoa of Lubbock, Angela Arrezola of Hale Center; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and his loving dog, Winnie.

He was the father of her four children. She devoted her life to him until his death May 5, 1979. After years as a single mother, on May 28, 1992, Charlotte married Franklin Wiley. They were happily married until his death December 31, 2010. Charlotte was also preceded in death by her parents Harry Goble, Dorothy Goble, her brother Jerry Goble and son in law Monte Sullivent. She was the grand representative for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls Louisiana to Texas, PTA President of Hardwick Elementary of 1978, Den Mother for the Cub Scouts of America during the youth of her sons. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, and arts/crafts. She most enjoyed attending Church on the Rock, South Campus with her family. She is survived by her four children- Delton(Cindy) Langehennig of Ft Worth, Bryan Langehennig, Angie Sullivent( Fiancé’ Richard Lockard) and Melissa (Kevin) Rennels, five grandchildren- Carissa(Chris) Beck, Evie Langehennig, Bruce Langehennig II, Brittny (David) Quintanar, Tina Jo(Troy) McGann, 9 great grand children and an abundance of extended family who loved and care for her deeply. The family would like to thank Dr. Jitendra Vasandani, Encompass Home Health and Beyond Faith for their attentive care. They would also like to extend their deepest gratitude for her private care givers. Visitation will be Thursday, July 30 from 4p.m. to 6p.m. at Resthaven Chapel. He went with the best way he knew how, laughing and joking alongside his wife of 40 years, Rose Ann Perez. He was born on September 16, 1959 in Brownfield, TX to David and Audonna Perez. He graduated from Meadow High School and started his impactful life alongside Rose Ann Perez on March 8, 1980 in Brownfield, TX. He is survived by his wife, Rose Ann Perez of Brownfield, TX, three Children and their spouses Maricella Perez and Marty Garcia of Brownfield, TX, Aaron and Sobeida Perez of Gardendale, TX and Amy and Javier Trillo of Kennedale, TX, five grandchildren, one grandchild on the way, and four furbabies. His five brothers and sisters, Yolanda and Ernest Pauda of Brownfield, TX, David and Susan Perez of Meadow, TX, Mary Ann and Ismael Cortez of Davidson, OK, Benny Perez of Meadow, TX and Linda and Jimmy Tercero of Lubbock, TX and MANY nieces and nephews.
