Read moreMy name is Bric Turner and after three and a half years as the secondary principal, I have been named the new superintendent of Meadow ISD. I am honored to lead a district with great students, a fantastic staff, and the best school board in the state of Texas. Also, to be a part of the tremendous school community of Terry County. I am proud of our Meadow community for supporting the COVID-19 protection measures that were implemented in our school. Our students and staff have been asked to wear masks, our classrooms have desk shields for each student, our cleaning staff disinfects surfaces all through the day, and we have GermBlast treat our buildings every three months from top to bottom. Taking these measures has allowed our school to remain open with no COVID disruptions since we rang the first bell on August 11th . Our students have been outstanding this year. We have had success in academics, athletics, FFA, and FCCLA. We are looking forward to a great spring competitive season as well. Our teachers and staff care about the students and work tirelessly to help them build their futures. Meadow ISD offers advanced academics with Pre-AP and AP classes and dual credit available through South Plains College, as well as multiple pathways in career and technical education. Meadow ISD has student support systems in place with a full-time registered nurse, special education and dyslexia programs, and the federal migrant education program. Please call the campus offices if you have any questions or contact me at the administration office.
