Read moreTerri McClanahan Meadow Volunteer Fire Department added a new fire engine to its fleet. Once the truck arrived at the station, it was parked and prepared for the traditional “push-in” ceremony. This ceremony dates to when horse-drawn steamer engines were in use. Firefighters, city officials and residents were able to participate in the push-in June 10, christening a 2000 Spartan fire engine into the fire station bay and deeming it ready for service.
