Read moreCarrol Fleming passed peacefully Tuesday, March 17, 2020 with his wife Ona by his side in his son’s home. Graveside service were held at 2pm Friday, March 20, 2020 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Carrol was born November 1, 1933 in Maple, TX to his parents EB Fleming and Ima E. Fleming. He graduated from Three Way High School and went into the Marines from 1954 to 1957. Carrol married his wife Ona on March 5, 1962. He worked for GTE for 30 years and retired in Brownfield where he was also a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. Carrol is survived by his wife, Ona Fleming; one son, Steve Keene and wife Sandy; one grandson Steven David Keene; one great-grandson, Bladen Keene; brothers, Howard, Robert, Raymond, Roy, Elvis, and Floyd; sisters, Eula Fleming and Lena Faye Blalock.
