The Wellman-Union boys’ basketball team was on the road visiting District 7-1A opponent Whiteface. The Wildcats went into the game on a two game winning streak and extended their streak to three with a 49-36 win over Whiteface. Wellman-Union improves to 4-1 in district and 6-5 overall.

The Meadow girls’ basketball team hosted Loop in District 7-1A action with the Lady Broncos looking to win their fifth district game and stay in the hunt for the district title. After four quarters of play the Lady Broncos defeated Loop 70-42 to improve to 5-1 in district and 11-10 overall.

The Meadow boys’ basketball team hosted Loop in District 7-1A on Tuesday night. The Broncos where coming off their first win in district and followed it up with a 68-36 win over Loop. Meadow improves to 2-3 in district and 7-8 overall.
