Read moreLUBBOCK – The Brownfield boys’ golf team competed in the first day of District 3-3A golf meet on Monday, March 28th at Shadow Hills Golf Course in Lubbock. The Cubs golfers played 18 holes in the first day and will finish the district meet on Wednesday, April 6th at Reese Golf Course in Lubbock for a spot as a team or as an individual in the Class 3A Regional golf meet.
Read moreBrownfield hosted the two-day District 3-3A tennis tournament that began Monday, March 28th and ended on Tuesday, March 29th. The Cubs and Lady Cubs tennis players went into the tournament as the nine-time defending district champions and were also playing for a chance to qualify for the Regional tennis meet in April. After having a girl’s and boy’s single and boys doubles team play in the play-in on Tuesday morning, Brownfield celebrated a 10th straight overall district championship and both the boys and girls district champions. The team celebrated with the championship trophy and earned two plaques to add to the already expanded list.

She graduated in 2022 with honors and received a bachelor’s in athletic training. After graduating from Brownfield High School as salutatorian in 2018, she went to New Mexico Junior College on a full scholarship for athletic training. She graduated from New Mexico Junior College in 2020 with an Associates in Art with honors and an Associate of Science with honors. After graduation, she will attend Texas Tech to receive her Master’s in athletic training.
