Gas Prices Jump Ever-Higher

High gas prices continue to haunt our area. A family in Brownfield has been planning a trip to California since last summer. But they told the Brownfield News that with the gas prices jumping ever-higher the family can’t go anymore. A family member told the news they might travel somewhere closer. Regardless, their life has been substantially changed because of gas prices that have become unpredictable.

The Brownfield Cubs 7 on 7 football team was in Seminole on Monday, May 23 and dominated the competition. The Cubs played rival Denver City and won 34-0. Holding Denver City scoreless with an impressive showing of secondary discipline locking up the skies and creating a no fly zone.
