City Council members discuss lengthy agenda

The Brownfield city council members met Thursday morning for their regularly scheduled meeting to discuss multiple matters. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tom Hesse after beginning with an invocation from Pastor Steve Carter. The quorum was present with council members Isaiah Bautista, Michael Tackitt, Michelle Cooper, JC Tijerina, Celso Duran and Kelli Mendez. City Manager Jeff Davis and Attorney Matt Wade were also present on the quorum.

Western Peanut Growers Association (WPGA) will be holding the 40th annual meeting on Thursday, March 30, 2023, beginning at 10:00 am at the Gaines County Civic Building (405 NW 5th Street), in Seminole, Texas. The Business Meeting is expected to start the session. There will be an election of association directors for three expiring terms.
