Council members Kelli Mendez, Celso Duran, J.C Tijerna, Leon Pope, Marshall Martell, Mark Williams and Jimmy Garza were all present on the quorum along with City Manager Jeff Davis, Secretary Kelly Burris and Mayor Tom Hesse. The council met to discuss several topics on the agenda, including holding a public hearing for the 20232024 Fiscal Year Budget.

Read moreTerry County will be hosting their 68th annual farm tour Thursday beginning at the Armory on 101 Webb St. Coffee and donuts will be served by the Brownfield Farmers Coop from 8:15 a.m. till around 9 a.m. The buses for the tour will start loading at 9 a.m. and will return to The Armory at noon for lunch catered by Jeana’s Feedbag from Levelland.
