OH BABY!

It took 18 days for Brownfield Regional Medical Center to bring their first baby of the New Year, but when it happened, there were three to deliver and the race was on. The first born was baby girl Kaizlie Rai Ortiz, who joined the Brownfield community at 4:44 am on January 18, 2024. She is pictured here with her proud Mom, Rai Guzman and her equally proud partner Jose Ortiz. Also in the picture is Dr Kristy Acosta, who delivered Kaizlie, the staff team who made this moment happen, and the CEO, Chuck Norris, proudly presenting the family with New Year baby gifts to the first arrival.
