Felix S. Martinez

February 8, 1958 - October 24, 2022

Felix S. Martinez, 64, of Brownfield went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2022. He was born in Gonzales County, TX on February 8, 1958 to Clemente Martinez and Mary Martinez. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemente and Mary. He is survived by his children Eric Martinez (Kasee), Eddika Garcia (Robert), and Crystal Martinez (Devin), all of Brownfield and Michael Arizpe; his siblings, David Martinez (Betty) of Brownfield, Clarissa Rodriguez (Joe) of Wolfforth, Liz Moroles (Joe) of Midland, Jeffrey Perez (Yvette) of Big Spring. His legacy will be carried on by his family, but especially by his nine grandkids, Adrian (Topo), Caleb (Haus), Kamryn (Little Nanny), Samuel (Little Felix), Zavier (Apache), Zarius (Pretty Boy), Zerach (Chato), Emalee (Smiley) and Michael (MJ).

Felix was a hard-working man and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He loved to be outdoors fishing and hunting and shared this love with his family, but especially his grandsons over many hunting trips to South Texas. He was a friend to many and rarely met a stranger and will be fondly remembered by his big smile and sense of humor.

Services will be on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 2:00 pm at United Family Fellowship.

The family will be available for visitation at Brownfield Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
