As we get closer to the Electoral College casting their vote for President of the United States, there are still a lot of questions concerning voting irregularities. There just are! I watched a few of the state legislature hearings on voting issues, and let me tell you, watching these citizens, you can tell they were genuine about what they said and what they believed happened.

Sure... we have those fun-loving Christmas movies on Hallmark or Up Faith & Family on our TV. Our Pandora account is set to Christmas music, plus we have a Christmas playlist on our iTunes. We’ve decorated the house with the festive Christmas colors, tree, ornaments, and of course, the outside of the house has also become festive with Christmas lights and decor! There will come a day when my house will look like the Griswolds! Can’t wait for that!

Read moreThanksgiving morning fun in Coleman Park. Madyson Horton of Brownfield and Frank and Ida Sumpter of Lamesa took part in the 28th Annual Turkey Trot at Coleman Park. The Turkey Trot is put on by the West Texas Runners Clubs and usually takes place in Lubbock on Thanksgiving Day. Due to COVID-19, this year's trot took place all over the South Plains and Eastern NM. The Cubs were coming off an overall bad performance in a 71-38 loss to Hereford and looked to bounce back at home. Brownfield and Snyder needed two extra quarters to determine a winner, with the Cubs holding on for a 59-58 win to snap a two-game losing streak.
