Read moreA special historic building will be moving from Brownfield around mid-September headed to the National Ranching Heritage Center (NRHC) in Lubbock. Spur Ranch Church (Good Shepherd Episcopal Church) located at 304 E. Lanny Ave is a one-room church built on Spur Ranch land in 1912 three years after the ranch platted land for the then new settlement of Spur, Texas. Decades later the church was relocated to Brownfield where it currently sits.
