Brownfield, Texas — Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s Watch UR BAC program has a new campaign to encourage the public to report suspected impaired drivers. All motorists have a civil duty to report impaired drivers and help keep roadways safe.

Since October, USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has enrolled 110,000 acres in new conservation easements, bringing USDA to this important conservation milestone.

Read moreOn Sunday, April 4, 19 year old Hunter Acosta drove his 2008 Nissan Altima halfway through the bedroom wall of 604 East Ripley at 5 a.m. The crash caused the two residents to be thrown from the bed across the room, and one had part of the wall collapse on her leg. The two residents were taken to BRMC for injuries. Acosta was arrested on site and is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and driving while intoxicated. He is currently out of jail after posting his bond of $52,500.
