Read moreI have lived in Brownfield all my life, except during my years in college. I attended Brownfield ISD from kindergarten through graduation in 2005. Throughout middle school and high school, I was an active member in athletics, FCA, Industrial Technology, Student Council, National Honor Society, and Spanish National Honor Society. I was blessed to have a group of caring teachers and coaches that helped instill in me high morals and values. It was because of the influences of these teachers and mentors that I decided to pursue a career in early childhood. My 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Dana Cooley, showed compassion and a contagious love of learning. Coaches Annette Densmore and Amy Mangum taught me leadership, perseverance, and a love for sports and teamwork. I later had a new appreciation for them when I became a coach myself.
