Read moreThe Brownfield City Council met for the year's final meeting on Thursday morning. The council was short two members, Michael Tackitt and Ricky Rocha were unable to attend. The council approved the minutes of the previous meeting and recognized Brownfield Sports Complex Groundskeeper Dee Doyle as the December Employee of the Month.
Read moreBrownfield Regional Medical Center's Board of Directors held a meeting on Monday to discuss and move forward with the hiring and training of Family Nurse Practitioner Cynthia Brown and announce the new interim Chief Nursing Officer, Pam Clark. Brown is a Seagraves native, an FNP for a year, and has many years of experience in the medical field. Clark has taken over as interim CNO due to the previous interim CNO, Crystal Briggs, leaving early. Clark is a Brownfield native with 42 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and over a decade as an interim CNO. The board also discussed the upcoming elections for the board of directors next year. Three members are up for reelection, Justin Hesse, Bobby Lawerence, and Sue Cottrell. Filing dates are January 19 through February 18.
