Read moreLord, you shower us with your grace and we love the feeling we get from receiving it. It makes us feel like dancing. Now that our lives have changed to having God with us, we will never let go of Him. We will forever hold Him to our hearts and souls. We search the earth for something we cannot find, only to realize the Holy Spirit was within us the whole time... in our body, mind and soul. Take your hand, Lord, and give us the gentle touch of Your love and grace so that we may say that we will always be with God in heart and mind and never will we leave our sweet Lord again. We want to be in Heaven with God now, but we must wait on earth to prove to the Lord how much faith and love we have for our almighty Lord. Careless hearts are the cause of our sin in God’s eyes, and now we wait for forgiveness. We are grateful we can obtain it through his gift of grace.

Perez Amaya, along with Aubree Valenzuela and Brianna Villarreal competed in the contest, with Valenzuela also earning a State medal. The girls also got to experience several other activities while in Austin such as eating at new restaurants, above, and visiting the Capitol grounds, bottom left.
