Average gasoline prices in Texas have fallen 3.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.17/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 13,114 stations in Texas. Prices in Texas are 12.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 18.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel is down 1.2 cents in the last week and stands at $4.01 per gallon.

US Postal Service Recommends New Prices for July 2024

Last Tuesday, the U. S. Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission of mailing services price changes to take effect July 14, 2024. The new rates include a 5-cent increase in the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp from 68 cents to 73 cents.
