Words Unsaid: Spring Cleaning

Spring is here, and with it, Spring cleaning. Personally, I do not like to clean. I know some people that love it and will even clean to de-stress, I am not one of those people. I’m not necessarily a messy person so my house stays fairly clean throughout the year, but when it comes to deep cleaning, I’d rather skip out. For some reason in my mind, if it looks clean, it is clean- unfortunately for me, that is not true. Of course I always feel refreshed after the big annual deep-clean, but getting myself to start is half the battle. Here’s some ways that I have found to get me motivated to start my Spring cleaning.

Melony Franco - Teach or Train Level 2 - 2nd Place National Qualifier Meadow FCCLA state qualifying teams, Alissa Simental - Interpersonal Communications Level 2 and Addison Garcia Interior Design Level 2 worked really hard this year and we are so proud of their accomplishments this year as well. For FCSA’s, Ebony Franco, Melony Franco, and Alissa Simental received Gold Medals, Abigail Gonzalez received a Silver Medal, and Elvis Rodriguez received a Bronze Medal.

High School UIL participants!

Students who placed 1st-3rd or were on a 1st place team have qualified for the regional UIL academic meet that will be on Friday, April 21. It will be hosted by SPC. Wellman-Union had 13 individuals qualify (and several of those qualified in multiple events.)
