Average gasoline prices in Texas have fallen 9.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.79/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 13,114 stations in Texas. Prices in Texas are 4.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 7.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 2.6 cents in the last week and stands at $4.06 per gallon.

Brantley Hired as Lady Cubs' New Head Volleyball Coach

The Brownfield High School Volleyball team will see a familiar face return next season as Former Brownfield High School Graduate Mallorie Brantley will guide the Lady Cubs as their Head Coach for the 2024-2025 season. Brownfield ISD confirmed through its Facebook page on Tuesday that Brantley would be returning to Brownfield High School’s volleyball team but at the helm of it this time around.
