GLENDA GAY GEORGE

Glenda passed away Saturday on August 17 at 4:45 p.m. surrounded by her children. She was born in Spur in 1946 and was adopted by Lee and Lora Thomas. She attended Brownfield High School where she met and married Gary Lynn George. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her children Grady George and his wife Kimberly, daughter Gina George, her grandson Noah George, granddaughters Kaitlin Owen and her husband John, Amity George, and Gillian George. She also has two great-grandchildren Adelyn and Blakely Owen, and her chosen daughter Kierstyn Harshman and her daughter Alivia. She loved her family fiercely. Her grandbabies were her world. She loved God, knew Jesus and regularly attended church. She had many names she went by…Nana, Grandma, Bramaw, and mom. She was always smiling and never took things too seriously. She was happy with a cold Dr. Pepper and some vanilla ice cream and maybe a scratch off or two. We will be having graveside service Saturday August 31, 2024 at Brownfield Cemetery with a Celebration of her life following in Lubbock.
