Carolyn Gayle Carter passed away on April 13, 2020 in Lubbock. She was born on June 14, 1942 in Baird, TX to Conrad and Bernice Allphin. Carolyn loved to play softball, karaoke, and to go bowling. Carolyn was a very strong willed and loving lady. She was loved by many and a mother to everyone. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband John R. Carter; parents Conrad and Bernice Allphin; four brothers, Tommy Allphin, Curtis Allphin, Johnny Crossland, and Bobby Crossland. Carolyn is survived by two sons, Allen Carter and wife Angie of Lubbock, Andy Carter and wife Laquetta of Comanche, TX; daughter, LaDonna Click of Sundown; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
