Grace Hughes

Graveside service for Grace Hughes was held at 1pm Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Chaplain Al Wise officiating. There was a family visitation from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Brownfield Funeral Home.Grace Lanore Hughes passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020. She was born on May 1, 1924 in Truscott to Marion and Georgia Tarpley. She graduated from Brownfield High School. Grace married Milton H. Hughes Jr. on July 21, 1947 in Brownfield. Grace is preceded in death by husband, Milton H Hughes Jr., parents, Georgia and Marion Tarpley, six siblings, Chad Tarpley, Elsie Impson, Loretta Bailey, G.W. Tarpley, Ruth Ramseur, and Larry Tarpley. Grace is survived by daughter, Tami Hill; two granddaughters, Kacy Hill and Katie Hill; three great-granddaughters, Paige Raney, Matilyn Thomas, and Nora Caldwell; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
