Funeral services for Elizabeth Jane Harwood will be held 2pm Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Brownfield Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Elizabeth was born on January 6, 1928 to E.W. and Anna (Spicuzza) Wilgus in New Orleans, LA. She passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in Brownfield. Elizabeth was a homemaker and a mother. She was a sweet, genuine and candid woman with a unique sense of humor. Elizabeth loved to play bingo. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, E.W. and Anna Wilgus, three children, Jimmy Briggs, Belinda Briggs, Robert Stevens, granddaughter, Cindy Paulson, and three siblings, Rosemary Snyder, Shirley Ellis, and Robert Wilgus. Elizabeth is survived by six grandchildren, Sandra Hines and husband Dan, Tracy Quezada and husband Erasmo, Shawn Coleman, Jeffrey Whitehead and wife Ladonna, Michelle Wilson and husband Steve, Adam Stevens and wife Rizza; 12 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; sister, Rita Crudup; sister-in-law, Sandra Wilgus; and several nieces and nephews.
