Terrel L. Bowlin Sr.

Graveside services for Terrel L. Bowlin, Sr. will be held 2pm Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Terrel passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Gainesville. He was born April 4, 1933 in Lamb County to Bedy D. and Lillie Margie (Durham) Bowlin. He graduated from Wellman High School. Terrel served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957. Terrel married Imogene Criswell on November 2, 1953 in Seminole. Terrel was a Farmers Insurance agent in Brownfield for 20 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bedy and Lillie Bowlin and sister Nelda Joyce Ellis. Terrel is survived by his wife, Imogene Bowlin; two sons, Terrel L. Bowlin, Jr. and wife Elaine Ruth, Steven Gene Bowlin and wife, Kelly Sue; 6 grandchildren, Dustin Bowlin, Ryan Chad Bowlin and wife Kristin, Bradley Chance Bowlin and wife Lyndsay, J.D. James, Shana Mills and husband, Casey, Ashley Redwine and husband, T.C.; 6 great grandchildren, Canon Redwine, Porter Redwine, Tristan James, Lainey Faith Mills, Lydia Redwine, Finlee Harper Bowlin; 2 sisters Dixie Ruth Marks, Linda Jo Rogers; 7 nieces, Bonnie Rogers, Bettina Rogers, Debra Robertson, Paula Avena, Marcy Rhoades, Karen McDonald, Stacy Soto; and 5 Nephews, James Ellis, David Ellis, Greg Foshee, Todd Foshee, Scott Rogers.
