DANNIE “DAN” HAROLD SHERROD JULY 23, 1949 - APRIL 17, 2023

Dannie “Dan” Harold Sherrod Born on July 23, 1949 in Lubbock Texas to Harest Harold (HH) & Eula Mae (McCain) Sherrod. Dan passed on April 17, 2023 in Lubbock Texas at UMC hospital at the age of 73.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his older brother David W. (Linda) Sherrod of Lubbock TX, his younger sister Karen N.Sherrod of Corpus Christi TX, and several nieces and nephews.

Dan was the Brownfield High graduating class of 1967. He lived in Florida, Corpus Christi and Austin. Dan was in the pharmaceutical world whether it be setting up fixtures in the store, or a sales man, or product delivery. He retired and moved back to Brownfield TX. He was an avid golfer, great storyteller, and a lover of books and music. Dan was always outgoing and a friend to all. He loved his furry canine companion, Maggie Mae. A celebration of life will be held by the family.
