Acencion “Ace” Garcia

Funeral Services for Acencion “Ace” Garcia will be held at 2 pm Friday, January 20, 2023 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Acencion was born on December 22, 1946 in Brownfield to Amalio and Concepcion Garcia. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He worked for Lowes in the paint department for many years. Acencion married Robinette Gonzales in Brownfield on August 13, 2007. He loved listening to Elvis, dancing and playing golf. Acencion especially loved all of his grandchildren and he had a great sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amalio and Concepcion Garcia; brother, Amalio Garcia, Jr.; and sisters, Elvia Gamez and Maria Huerta.

Acencion is survived by his wife Robinette Garcia; children Acencion Garcia, Jr. and wife Natalie, Jessica Rosa and husband Joshua, John Floyd, Jr., Jack Floyd, Jim Floyd and wife Kathy, Janette Crandall and husband Russ; 9 grandchildren; brother, Antonio Garcia; and sisters, Eloisa, Adelina, Elida and Connie Garcia.
