Victoria D. Leija

She married Johnny B. Leija, Sr. on April 7, 1966.

Victoria is survived by her husband of 56 years, Johnny B. Leija, Sr.; a son, Johnny Leija, Jr. and wife, Carmen; three daughters, Rebecca Leija, Rosa Salinas and husband, Hector, Jr., and Ruby Lener and fiance, Mark Moreno; five grandsons, Jonthan Salinas, Johnny Leija Ill, Jose and Moses Valenzuela, and Isaiah Lener; three granddaughters, Ysenia Leija, Marcella Salinas, and Sgt. Keyira Lener; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Victoria is preceded in death by her parents: Ignacio and Jacinta DeLeon and son-in-law, Robert Lener and four sisters and two brothers.

November 9, 1942 - December 10, 2022 Funeral services for Victoria D. Leija, of Brownfield, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Spanish Foursquare Church in Brownfield. There will be a public viewing on Thursday and Friday, December 15 and 16, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Victoria passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was born on November 9, 1942, in Stockdale, TX to Ignacio and Jacinta DeLeon.
