Gary Don Hall

Gary Don Hall was a caring husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He left this world suddenly on June 28, 2022 at age 57.

He was born to George “Ray” and Betty Sue Hall on September 29, 1964 in Tom Green County, Texas. Gary married his sweetheart Ramona Kay Kreiser on October 8th, 1993 who preceded him in death in 2021.

Gary moved to Brownfield, Texas in 1995 where he and Mona raised their three handsome boys. He worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for over 20 years while running his own business, Hall’s Lawn Care. After retiring from the TDCJ he began a career at TX DOT where he enjoyed operating the heavy equipment and driving all the roads in Terry County.

Over the years he proved to be a caring, proud, and hardworking man who always made sure his family was taken care of and loved spoiling Mona’s day care kids. Always the jokester, Gary loved to make people laugh.

Gary is preceded in death by his wife Ramona Hall and his father Ray Hall. He is survived by his mother, Betty Sue Hall; Sister Kathy Pattillo; Niece Amanda Moore and her twins; Brother and wife Ken and Dana Hall; Son and wife Travis and Chelsea Hall; Son Jacob Hall; Son Derek Hall; Bonus Daughter DeNell Duncan; Bonus Granddaughter Olivia “Porkchop”.

The Hall family would like to thank family, friends, and the community of Brownfield for all the love and continued support. Gary did not wish to have a service and in lieu of flowers or donations, he would have wanted everyone to spend time with family and tell corny dad jokes.
