Sherry Lynn (Karr) Moreno
May 27, 2022 - October 18, 1971
Sherry Lynn (Karr) Moreno went to be with her Lord on May 27, 2022, aged 50 years. Sherry was born in Brownfield, Texas on October 18, 1971 to Gary Karr and Karen Wilson Karr (Phillips), and lived most of her years in and around the south plains.
Sherry drew people in with her beautiful dimpled-smile and her honest love for making others laugh and smile right along with her. She never met a stranger and knew no enemies, as her pervasive kindness and generosity always shone through with all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She loved hard, truly believing that all people were inherently good, even when they sometimes weren’t, and that others deserved the honor of her acceptance of them just as they were. She was and is still so incredibly loved and her absence will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Sherry is survived by her beloved daughter, Dustie Elmore Coleman of Plainview, Texas, her mother, Karen Wilson Phillips of Amarillo, and sisters Lindy Lee, Brooke Borchardt, Stormy Matney, and Leslie Quintanilla. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Gary Michael Karr, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
There will be a private memorial for Sherry at a future date.
