Margaret Louise Tolbert Allen

Memorial service for Margaret Louise Tolbert Allen, 93, of Brownfield will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Click officiating.

Margaret was born on July 16, 1928, in Frankfort, Kentucky. Her mother died a few months after her birth and she was raised by her grandmother.

Margaret married Loyd Allen on July 16, 1946, in Fort Worth. They moved to Levelland in 1959. Margaret was a housewife and secretary. She retired from South Plains College where she worked in the Science Department.

She was a member of the First Baptist and First Methodist Churches of Levelland and later a member of First Baptist Church in Meadow. Her love of the Lord was reflected in every aspect of her life. She was devoted to her family. She also loved music along with the history behind the music and artist.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Loyd, daughter Brenda, and son David. She is survived by daughter Paula Click, husband Mike, of Brownfield; granddaughters, Laura Campbell Tyler, husband Laudie, of Levelland, and Melanie Click Ridenour, husband Dr. Jim, of Brownfield; and great-granddaughter, Maggie Ridenour of Brownfield.
