Ruben Thomas Garcia

Our beloved Ruben Thomas Garcia was called home at 1:05 am on May 2,2022. Ruben was born June 11, 1994 in Lubbock Tx to Daniel Garcia & Leticia Olguin.

In his 27 years of life Ruben overcame many obstacles and lived a great life. He was one of the strongest fighters we knew. Ruben was our real life super hero. He graduated from Brownfield High School in May 2016. Ruben loved to dance, eat and watch all his favorite movies. Ruben will be dearly missed by all of his family.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Tomas and Nancy Garcia and maternal grandfather Apolonio Vasquez.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Domingo and Leticia Olguin and Daniel and Irma Garcia. His 4 brothers Daniel Garcia, Abriam Ortega, Adrian Ortega and DJ Payen. His sisters Kaylie, Megan, Alyssa and Xian Garcia. His nephews Julius, Emilio and Ayden Gonzales and Jett and Jaxton Quintanilla. His nieces Nivea Gonzales and Olivia Garcia. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Lupe and Estella Chavez and maternal grandmother Guadalupe Vasquez. Also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The viewing services will be Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 12-8 pm at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at Brownfield Funeral Home on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Ruben had a smile that was contagious and the silliest laugh, we love you so much Ruben!
