Jeremy Mark Webb

Jeremy Mark Webb, age 41 of Lubbock (formerly Brownfield, Texas), passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at UMC Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. He was born December 5, 1980 to John and Beverly (DePoyster) Webb. To be in this world but not of it truly described Jeremy. He suffered along with every hurting soul he met and strived to make their lives better, if only for a day. Jeremy was a son, brother and uncle to us but to others a listening ear, a tutor, a friend or a defender. Jeremy always wanted each person to be treated with dignity regardless of the circumstance. Jeremy is remembered at Wellman Union High School, class of 1999, for his amazing football and track accomplishments but his interests were unlimited. He always found excitement in knowledge. He was always thinking or dreaming of ways to make the world a better place to live. As a young boy Jeremy ran everywhere, almost never walking. We envision Jeremy sprinting to the pearly gates of Heaven to embrace our Heavenly Father. Jeremy faced many hurdles during his time on Earth. Our family finds peace knowing his body and spirit are renewed. Jeremy is survived by his parents, two sisters, Misty Ruhland of Lampasas and Marcie Van Osdale (Steve Van Osdale) of Lubbock and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Our lives are forever changed by Jeremy’s love and affection. We are grateful for the time we were granted. Memorial service for friends and family members is pending.
