Trevor Lynn Burney

Trevor Lynn Burney, 33, of Amarillo and formerly of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 in Amarillo. Trevor was born on July 7, 1987 in Lubbock to David Fishel Burney and Glenda Kay Maynard. He had lived in the Brownfield and Lubbock area and graduated from Brownfield High School. He had worked in roofing and landscaping. He enjoyed coaching his children in soccer and football, loved music, and spending time with his friends and family. Trevor is survived by his 6 children, Jayvonn Jose, Jayden Lynn, Jayremiah Jacob, Ilyne Melendy, Lillyana Nevaeh, and Madison Faith, father, David Burney of Breckenridge, Trevor’s girlfriend, Vivian Cardenas, and 5 siblings, Brittani Tucker and husband, Matthew, of Breckenridge, Logan Mulkey and wife, Katy, of China Springs, Tanner Mulkey of Brownfield, Sandi Pilgrim and husband, Cody, of Brownfield, and Jeremy Foster of New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Kay Maynard, grandparents, Wilma Maynard, Juanita Burney, and John Burney, and aunt, Brenda Minyard. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at a memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Combest Family Funeral Homes in Lubbock.
