Services for Thomas M. Longoria were held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2021, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing was held from 1-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel. Thomas was born on December 30, 1938, to Raul and Dogracia Longoria in Karnes City. He married Leonor Garcia in 1969 in Alice. He was a businessman, starting as an insurance salesman before working his way to district manager and business owner. He loved spending time with his family, especially on movie nights. He enjoyed traveling, boating, watching major league baseball, and was an avid Texas Rangers fan. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Raul Longoria and Dogracia Morin Longoria; brother Juan Longoria and grandson, Zachary Salinas. Thomas is survived by his two daughters, Liz Longoria of Tampa, Florida and Cynthia Vasquez of Nixon; son, Michael Salinas of Seguin; two granddaughters, Marissa and Kiara Vasquez of Nixon; great-grandson, Carter Dean Hansen; six sisters, Elisa Molina of Brownfield, Maria Luisa Perez of Waco, Yolanda Longoria of Brownfield, Minerva Gongora of Giddings, Lurden Sandoval of Giddings, Jovita Rey of Lubbock and Josie De La O of Holland, Michigan, three brothers, Eloy Longoria, Ramiro Longoria, and Abel Longoria all of Brownfield and many nieces and nephews.
