THOMAS JOE CHRISTESSON AUGUST 18, 1943 - FEBRUARY 13, 2023

Funeral services for Thomas Joe Christesson will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Brownfield Church of Christ with Bo Shero officiating. Burial will follow in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery.

There will be a family visitation from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Joe passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, in Brownfield. He was born on August 18, 1943, to Joseph William and Goldie Irene Christesson in Terry County. He graduated from Brownfield High School. He married Ida Mae Ivey on July 6, 1962, in Brownfield. Joe was a member of the Brownfield Church of Christ and was also a Mason. He was a hardworking man that had a lot of friends. Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae Christesson; son, Johnny Christesson; brother, Johnnie Lee Christesson; sister, Gladys Blocker.

Joe is survived by his son, Michael Christesson and wife, Hazel; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat- grandchildren; a great-great grandson; and daughter-in-law, Rachel
