PAUL “TOMMY” RIVERA GUTIERREZ APRIL 26, 1969 - MARCH 13, 2023

Services for Paul “Tommy” Rivera Gutierrez, III, 53 of Lubbock will be held 10 am Friday, March 17, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father John Ohlig officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Public viewing will be held from 4pm-8pm on Thursday, March 16, 2023 with a Rosary held at 6 pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Tommy was born on April 26, 1969 in Brownfield and raised by his parents Reuban and Ismeralda Garcia.

Tommy was a kind and caring man, who loved his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, cooking, baking and listening to music. He worked for South Plains Communications helping build EMS and Law Enforcement vehicles and then later as a certified crane operator.

Tommy is survived by his children, Logan Gutierrez of Lubbock, Sarah Gutierrez of Lubbock and Kaylei Gutierrez of Connecticut; a grandson and another on the way; parents, Rueban and Ismeralda Garcia of Lubbock; siblings, Steve Gutierrez and wife Shirley of Seagraves, Becky Perez and husband Sammy of Lubbock and Danny Rodriquez and wife Jessica of Lubbock and several nieces and nephews.
