Services for Maria J. Munoz, 77, of Wellman were at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday November 6, 2019 St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sea-graves. Officiating will be Reverend Jose DeDios. Burial followed in Seagraves Cemetery under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home. She died Friday, November 1, 2019 in Wellman, Texas. She was born to Catarino Gonzales and Maria Cantu in Rock Springs, Texas on July 1, 1941. She married Robert Munoz January 12, 1964 in Brownfield, Texas. They moved to Wellman, Texas in 1989. She worked for the Wellman ISD in the cafeteria. She was preceded in death by four brothers; Lionel Gonzalez, Amadeo Gonzalez, Catarino Gonzalez Jr., and Ernesto Gonzalez; sisters, Amelia Charles, Lydia Almunia and Estella Trevino and a granddaughter, Ashley Rain Munoz. Survivors include her husband Robert of Wellman, daughters Margaret Perez and husband Manuel of Seagraves, Lisa Munoz of Plano, Texas, a son Raymond Munoz and wife Diana of Brownfield, Texas; brothers Albert Gonzales of Bryan, Texas, Esteven Gonzalez and Richard Avila, sisters Eudelia Gonzalez, Elva Davila and Brenda Epps. Also, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
