Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez

Services for Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Elvis Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Brownfield Cemetery. Maria went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2021, at the age of 72. She was born on April 11, 1949, to Antonio Zuniga and Bricia Saucedo in San Marcos, Durango. She was married to Manuel Ramon Rodriguez for 37 years. She worked hard during her life then became a homemaker. She was known and loved by many friends and family. Her home was always opened to everyone. She loved her kids and grandkids. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Zuniga and Bricia Saucedo, husband, Manuel Ramon Rodriguez, and son, Joe Manuel Rodriguez.

Maria is survived by her children, Jessie Rodriguez and wife Virginia, Miguel Rodriguez and wife Irma, Lupe Pendergrass, Carlos Rodriguez and wife Christy, Michele Mendoza and husband Jose, Derrick Rodriguez and wife Abilene, Leslie Martinez and husband Juan, and Elvis Rodriguez and wife Chelsea and 37 grandkids.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Lubbock, Mom’s nurse, Candace and C.N.A. Manuela, for the wonderful care they gave our loving mother and for checking up on us often.
