Services for Barbara Ann Cruz, 45, of Lubbock will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter Officiating. Viewing was held on Monday, September 20, 2021 and Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel. Barbara was born on February 23, 1976 to Adolfo “Toro” and Evangelina Cruz in Lubbock. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was the best mom and nana and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Lerma; parents, Adolfo “Toro” and Evangelina Cruz and her grandparents. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Bethany Lerma and husband Michael Cruz, and Brea Subia and husband Mychal; son, Isaiah Lerma; grandchildren, Jazlynn Calderon, Christopher Lerma, Sophia Subia, Mychal Subia, Evahnae Cruz and Peyton Cruz; and 8 sisters, Virginia, Susie, Becky, Patricia, Angie, Annette, Rachel baby sister Eva and numerous nieces and nephews.
